We are extremely proud that we are an Apple Regional Training Centre. This highlights our commitment to developing the use of Apple Technology in the classroom so that it can make a real impact on our children’s learning.

Over the next year through a professional learning programme, we will deliver a range of courses for educators to develop their skills and understanding of Apple Technology and how it can specifically impact on classroom practice. In addition this will be supplemented by a series of special events in conjunction with some of our partners.

As part of our strategy we aim to introduce as many educators as we can to the Apple Teacher programme which allows individuals to achieve accreditation working at their own pace.

There are a number of Regional Training Centres across the UK and Ireland and together we work as a community to share good practice and spread innovation in the classroom.

Across the UK and Ireland, the goals of all Apple Regional Training Centres are to:

• facilitate training opportunities for teachers to develop skills using Apple technology in the classroom
• promote Apple in Education and share new products and innovations with educators
• build Apple Teacher across the region
• share best practices, build community and inspire excellence.
