Lights, camera, action! In this session, Year 5 pupils step into the roles of director, cinematographer, and editor. Using iPads, students will explore the art of visual storytelling by capturing high-quality footage, experimenting with camera angles, and using green-screen technology to transport themselves anywhere in the world.
The workshop covers the entire production pipeline—from storyboarding and filming to post-production editing.
Pupils will learn how to trim clips, add transitions, and overlay titles to create a polished final product. It is a perfect way to meet the Year 5 Creating Media objectives while fostering teamwork and digital literacy.
