Step into the digital fabrication laboratory and become a product designer for the day! Delivered by the specialist ICT in Schools team, this premium 2-hour FabLab session gives children a hands-on look at high-tech digital manufacturing.
Young creators will use design software to layout, customize, and stylize their very own bedroom door name plate. Once their digital blueprint is complete, they will watch it come to life as a professional laser cutter precisely cuts and engraves their design right before their eyes. It’s an incredible, high-quality introduction to spatial design and manufacturing where everyone walks away with a unique, custom-made product to hang at home!
Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.
