This session brings classroom characters and toys to life in this enchanting introduction to mobile animation!
Using ChatterPix Kids, our youngest learners will learn how to take a photo of a drawing or object, draw a “mouth,” and record their own voice to make it speak.
This session is a fantastic way to boost confidence in oracy and storytelling, as pupils give a voice to historical figures, animals, or even their own artwork.
The adventure continues with Puppet Pals, where children transition into digital directors. Students will learn to select characters and backdrops, using simple “pinch and zoom” gestures to animate their actors in real-time as they narrate a story.
This workshop focuses on the foundational computing skills of capturing media and digital manipulation, all while fostering a love for creative narrative in a playful, supportive environment.
Resources: iPads, Cuddly toys or small figures
